The Visa Destination Thailand (DTV) allows Digital Nomads and Remote Workers to legally live and work in Thailand, offering benefits that cater to the digital lifestyle.

For remote workers or freelancers, the following documents are required: Financial proof, such as a minimum bank deposit of ฿500,000 in the last 3 months Proof of monthly income Employment contract or certification document

Visa for
Thai Cultural Activities

Suitable for those interested in learning or participating in cultural activities such as
Muay Thai, Thai cooking, or Thai music. Relevant documents for these activities must be provided.

Spouse and
children of DTV visa holders

Spouses and children under 20 years old can apply for a visa, provided they submit proof of relationship, such as a
birth certificate or marriage certificate. General Requirements: Applicants must be at least 20 years old on the date of submitting the DTV Visa application.

The Special Tourist Visa, also known as the "Digital Nomad Visa," has been officially implemented since July 15, 2024. This visa is designed to accommodate foreigners who wish to work remotely while traveling in Thailand (workcation). Holders of this visa can stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per visit, with a validity period of up to 5 years.
